Why We Go South

This is the lighthouse at the entrance to the Cleveland harbor, taken December 16. This is also why we decided to spend our winters seeking sunshine and warmth. While the wind driven waves created a fairytale like sculpture, that's a lot of cold and ice to totally cover a lighthouse and a keeper's cottage. Brrr. Photograph courtesy AP/Mark Duncan.

I saw that on the news! The broadcaster joked that it would probably melt off about June!

I swear I thought that was a Santa Claus sand sculpture. Yikes.

Admit it tho' - you go south just to keep out of VA and avoid Skitty.

[are you still mad at me. ;D]

Looks like a good enough reason for me.
Thanks so much for stopping by TNS and commenting.
You all are doing it right. I thought about RVing and seeking a constant 72 degrees when I retired but didn't make it. Always glad to see those that do.
