A bald eagle sitting on a piling in a tributary of the Columbia River next to the Ford dealership in Astoria, OR. He had been sunning himself and I originally thought he was a cormorant as he was quite a distance from me but a quick check with binoculars that we always keep handy in the truck showed this beauty. Who would have thought he'd be right in the city?
