Diesel was $3.05 today, the first time we've paid over $3.00 as we've been running on a fill up at $2.95. Ouch and double ouch. I know, you're probably paying more and we'll get into those areas soon enough. Probably sooner, as Denny is not happy with the fact that nighttime temperatures are going to be in the mid-20s here this week. So we're only paid up until Thursday and if it starts to snow we're out-of-here. So we'll have to get our Yellowstone sightseeing in quickly.
The new toy is a Magellan Meridian Gold hand-held GPS system that arrived in today's mail. Oh boy, new learning curve. I can see I'll be leaning on the Magellan yahoo group users for assistance on this one! Not so much the basic GPS but loading maps and routes onto a SD card to upload on the GPS. Hmm, new hobby of geo-caching perhaps? One thing at a time, Linda.
Anyway, we've finally made it to Yellowstone after almost eight years of full-timing. I've got the camera ready for tomorrow as I saw a bald eagle on the way home from the post office and I didn't have the camera with me. Lesson learned.
So we've taken off the water hoses and stored the water filters inside the rig for the night (trying to unfreeze water hoses is not fun first thing in the morning) and it's time for bed. Thank goodness for flannel sheets and thick comforters.
