From Washington to Anchorage

Before we could begin our land tour/cruise vacation we needed to figure out what to do with the cat from h*ll and The Beast. Barb and Rene, friends we met on the road who now bounce between the state of Washington in warm weather and Arizona in cold, volunteered their yard as a place to park our rig. Since our mommas didn't raise no dummies, we accepted. Barb even located a pet motel for Patches for us so we were set. We were wined and dined for the three evenings before we were due to head to the airport and the two of them even drove us to the airport, a 45 minute drive.

As a bonus, we got to share their fur kid, Noel. Her feet didn't touch the ground much for the time we were there as one of us always had a lap available for her.
Our time was a bit rushed with packing, cleaning out the leftovers in the refrigerator and arranging all that last minute "stuff" that comes up. But finally we were on our way to our Alaskan adventure!
