A short Sunday drive--the sun is actually shining today!

Since it was not only our normal Sunday out-to-breakfast day but also Father's Day, after we ate at the Fall City Grill we headed up to Carnation to look for the statue of the world-record milk producing cow who lived at the Carnation Farm. We discovered on arriving in the area that the Carnation Farm was purchased in 1985 by the Nestle Corporation who turned it into a training facility, but I got my snapshot of the cow statue and a couple of shots of the farm itself which is extremely well maintained and very attractive. We had hoped for a tour, but as the attached news story states, that was stopped long ago. So we came home to watch the US Open to see if Tiger could pull a rabbit out of the hat.
